Photographing Jewelry

Tomorrow I'm going to give photographing my jewelry another shot. Last time things didn't turn out as planned. I got an enormous amount of glare and some parts of the chain even looked rusty.This is not a selling picture. Sigh. Hopefully I'll get in some good shots that will make my jewelry appealing. Someone told me using white as a background and getting natural light will be of help so *crosses fingers* Wish me luck.
