Everyone's Making Their Shortlist

I entered a writing challenge. I had to write a poem where the last word of a line rhymed with the first word of the next line. I didn't win but the judge had this to say:

However, Cheryl insisted that special mentions must also go to Jessica Silfa for her poem The Going of Age which was "poignant and unusual but also strangely humorous as well as being deeply distressing with the twist at the ending. A well constructed piece that used the rules well."

I'm so excited! You can read the poem here. It's not my best but I guess someone liked it.
